Policy

Natib Qadish is a religion which does not discriminate in regards to ethnicity, race, background, ability, size, gender, sexuality, social position, or economic class. We do, however, take a dim view to those who harm disadvantaged groups and minorities.

A person does not have to be of any ethnicity, race, background, or nationality to be qadish. People of any particular ethnicity, race, background, or nationality are not treated with favoritism. Our religion is not based on biological inheritance, nationality, or background. Our religion is based on honoring our deities.

On a note regarding history, the Canaanites and the Ugaritans in particular, were a cosmopolitan people located at trade crossroads. They were fairly diverse in their population. They honored deities of other lands alongside their own. People who were originally from lands other than Ugarit participated right alongside local folks in honoring the deities. The ancient people of Ugarit were not an isolationists; nether are we in the modern day. And…one does not need an ancient precedent in order to treat people with compassion and dignity.

Also, we reserve the right to turn away people who cause strife and harm to our community and our community members. We reserve the right to turn away people who disrespect our deities and who disrespect our ways. We reserve the right to turn away people who cause harm to disadvantaged groups and minorities.
